Hi all, Do we have some TDC members who are in maintenance? I'm trying to envision being there and just can't yet imagine it!

I'm curious if you have any advice for those of us who are still in losing mode? Also, is being in maintenance different for someone who was once our size vs. those who only had a few pounds to lose? Maybe related to non-weight things, like people's perceptions of you, feeling successful, that sort of thing. What hardships did you have to overcome? Thanks!

I just arrived!

Still learning the ropes, but this is much scarier than the losing process. Without the structure of a definite "goal" I feel kinda lost. I still find it hard to not feel guilty when I eat something that I did not allow myself before!

I do feel like I accomplished a huge feat. I did something that very few other people have. It is a great boon to my self confidence, and I'm sure it shows in every aspect of my life.

Now if everyone didn't automatically assume that I had gastric bypass in order to lose....

Hey Karen,

Can you possibly put down your success story??? I'm sure we'd all love to read it (I would). I am salivating just seeing how you've done so well.

You too Diemde - I remember reading your posts months ago and I love seeing how your picture's changed. I'm too chicken right now to put mine up!!!

I have to agree with this one...I'd love to know...

 Congratulations Karen!

I am so happy for you! Yes, please do tell us your story.

I had forgotten about this thread so am glad to see it being revived. I know that for those of us who have been obese for years it will be quite a change when we hit maintenance. I'm looking forward to it, though. :D
