Good news coming...I tried the Klondike bars, they are in my Publix already, the girl at the checkout told me they have been selling a lot of them!

All I can say is that I've seen the low carb ice cream from Breyers and it's really not all that low carb (13-15 grams net carb per serving for the vanilla which is only about 7 grams less than the regular stuff). I hope that the chocolate ice cream bars that they come out with are better. I still probably won't get this stuff often because of the Maltitol, but it's nice to have a low carb option available and very nice to hear that food producers are taking note of the popularity of low carb and responding with products.
Just a word to beware of the new products that you see on the shelves. Read labels. While a lot of new products may be low carb, I've found that many still contain transfats and other things that many of us are also trying to avoid besides carbs. :nono:

Breyers No Sugar Added Ice Cream is as, nay higher in Carbs [especially sugars] as some of their Regular Ice Creams. But, Breyers NEW CarbSmart Ice Cream [which just hit the shelves in the last couple days] has only 4g of Net Carbs (10g - 3g Fiber - 3g Sorbitol.) In fact, it probably has less as Glycerine is listed as an ingredient, but a count is not included for it, and it appears only the Fiber and Sorbitol have been subtracted to reach the Net Carb count. It tastes really good. It costs $4.99 just like Atkins Ice Cream, but it is 1/2 Gallon [for that price] instead of 1 Pint [with Atkins.] And, I can scoop it like real Ice Cream, since it doesn't come in those stupid little serving cups. Only downside is it has a small amount (probably <1g) of HFCS.

How's the fat count? Do they share the delusion of some other ice cream maker that, because we're dieting, we want our low-carb ice cream to be low-fat as well? Also, what flavors do they have?
