poll - please
i have been on atkins since 03.03 and had SOME success... dropped 25 lbs. (most in the first 3-5 weeks) then down to a trickle since...
repr. endo - reccommendes sugar busters
but i have also read some good points about ir & cad
so - calling for all fellow pcos sisters to please donate their 2¢...

I think the best diet depends on your level of insulin resistance. I think there are good points to all the diets, but they each emphasize different strategies and different ratios of carbs. For instance, I could never do CAD as my blood sugar spikes too easily from unrestricted carbs, even if I reserved them all for one meal and ate lots of protein and fat. For me, Atkins is the way to go right now because I need to regulate carb intake very carefully or I can get severe hypoglycemia if I stray from a stringent carb intake.
