HALLO ALL
this is my first day on atkins,i finally overcome the fear of fat in my diet
i have bee on a diet and exercise program for the 3yrs.I started at 155pounds
and i am currentley at 130 i have gaind a lot of lean bodymass and reduced my bodyfat.over the last year i have been on a plateau and cant seem to lose that
last 10 pounds.i reasearched atkins for the last 3 months and also scanned the store shelfs for info on LC foods in canada( poor selection) in the meantime i have also converted my husband and he is starting with me. my concerne also was ,high diabetis factor in my genes.i know i can live witout bread,my problem is oatmeal in the morning after my workout,it has become my staple is there a way of making it LC :angel: :yay: ? i also dont eat beef or pork . and anyone from bc canada
with info on lc foods foud in supermarkets please advise .also anyone in to working out with weights on atkins? im worried about low energie,i would hate to lose my muskledefeniton i worked so hard for.

welcome! I think most people experience a few days of low energy levels in the early stages of a low-carb diet, but be assuered that it will pass relatively quickly. Keep up your water intake and maybe back off the workouts slightly for the first week or so. You should have no problem keeping your muscle tone if you continue are doing some resistance training.
