Since Sept 1 however only down 3 - 4 pounds ...keeps yo yo ing...frustrated that not much shown downwards on scale .....Last three days I have been focused on 8 glasses water...only thing in washroom LOTS...ANy other ideas as to why I am not loosing?????
Fitday shows most of my intake in foods from fat, then protein, with carbs at about 30 g most days.

Laura...welcome to the board! It's easier for people to make suggestions if you can either post your meals or the link to your Fitday record.
Everyone fluctuates, don't let it get you down. At least you're loosing! Congrats on the 3-4 pounds!

Laura,
As suggested a link to your fitday will allow someone to take a look at it and perhaps spot something you're eating or not eating that might be slowing down your weight loss.
Also, go down to my fitday link and click on it then go down to the bottom of my fitday page and take a look at my weight chart. Lots of ups and downs ... but I'm losing ... So don't worry too much about those minor luctuations.
I use fitday to help me make whatever changes I need in my diet. For example, week 3 I suddenly gained 3lbs and was panikced as I was doing everything right. A member of the forum took a look at my fitday and spotted the culprit ... HAM!! I retain water very easily and never put any additional salt on anything but that week I had been eating left over ham all week. As soon as I discontinued the ham I dropped the weight.
Best of luck to you and post your fitday link. Maybe someone can help.
