Sugarfree Tang

I have been haveing the worst citrus craving, to the point I almost cheated (Shhhh, don't tell) Then I found sugar free Tang amongst all the kool-aid and crystal light products at Wal-Mart. Now it is sweetened with aspertame http://forum.lowcarber.org/images/icons/icon9.gif, but the stuff is a God-send anyways... Try it sometime... I promise you'll LOVE it.

I soooo love the sugar free tang too! It just don't have the chemical kind of taste that crystal lite has. I do like the raspberry lemonade crystal lite makes though. I'm trying really hard to limit my intake of both because of the sweeteners but Tang sure is a refreshing treat.

I almost got some of this but stopped because of the Nutrasweet. I would love an OJ replacement but I have such carb cravings when I use products made with NS, why cant they use Splenda? Oh well! :-(

PS Do you know the Guylian brand of regular chocolate? The little shells? Well, at the new Fred Meyer in the Pharmacy section, you can buy sugar free Guylian in bar format - milk and dark. It's very nice LC chocolate!

I tried the Ket-OJ from Keto, since it's not sweetened with aspartame, PLUS it's fortified with glutamine, taurine, and a buch of other goodies, but I prefer the sf Tang. <shrug>

I use it to make an "Orange Julius" with vanilla shake mix, ice, a splash of heavy cream...whip in the blender 'til slushy. VERY filling, and hits the spot, aspartame be damned!!!!

Try diet V8 splash for a juice-only 4 carbs a sering and it is yummy
