Whilst in my local Health Shop i discovered this product labelled Carb Blaster ..apparantly it was on TV or something,Kerry-Anne perhaps?
Anyway from what I can understand you pop a couple of pills b4 a meal and have whatever u want, and u won't gain weight ..nice hey.
Any1 heard of/tried this product ?

If you do a search on 'carb blockers' on this site you'll find plenty of information. The general feeling I think is that they don't work.

Thanks again Zed :)
I thought they sounded too good to be true :(
Probably a good thing considering their price! ..and I can't imagine them being too healthy for your body anyway.
A product I used ages ago was called Chitosorb or something, it's made from a rare reef fish and it's supposed to stop one gaining weight after having pizza, takeaway etc. I only used it a few times, infact I still have the stuff but I must admit it worked rather well.
Has anyone else tried this product and if so how did you find it's sucess ?

Hi there
I bought some of the Crab blaster tablets about 3 weeks ago. Took them for nearly 2 weeks, and have to say I didnt notice a difference. It is possible that I didn't take them for long enough. They didnt make me ill or anything like that, but I really didnt notice a difference.

I've used "Chitosorb" by Neways. two tablets 30 mins b4 a meal (250mg of Chitosan per tablet)
As I said for me they worked. I didn't lose weight, but I didn't gain it either. I only ever used when having a large high fat meal. Never tried it with a 'normal' meal.
Haven't tried it since being on the 'atkins' Diet.

Timely, I picked up a brochure ~ the chemist today for carboslim. It was saying it prevents some enzyme from breaking carbs down into fat or something... a quote... "wouldn't it be better just to cut (carb-rich) foods out of our diet completely? In fact the answer is no. Cab-rich food such as bread, rice, etc are... our main source of many vitamins and important contributors of iron, calcium & zinc... cereals... are also our second biggest provider of protein after meat and poultry.." etc etc.
At least the brochure does say you can't eat anything you like on it... however I think it would just be easier - and cheaper - to stick with my friend Dr. Atkins!!!

really? i think most of the high carb foods the western world eats is highly refined and therefore the vits/mis etc are not present in the quantities they'd like us to believe. but that's my take on it

Reminds me of a story about shipping processed wheat in the form of flour from one side of the country (USA) to the other ... had all sorts of trouble cos of weevils. So they decided to remove some of the vitamins and minerals. The weevils ate less of the flour so they removed ALL and the weevels stopped eating the flour. The people complained it had no taste. Soooooo......in a huge gesture the companies added back 13 Vitamins and minerals and called it vitamin and mineral enriched..... and guess what is sold like hot cakes.
