Thermogenics - Stacker

Has anyone out there used "Stacker 2"???? I wanted to buy some xenadrine with ephedra because I had success with it in the past (pre-lc), but they dont make it any more. So the salesperson recommended these yellow Stacker pills. They have ephedra in them and you're supposed to take one after each meal. it says 25 mg ephedra in one pill... i dont know how that compares to other thermogenics...I bought them, I'm just a little nervous to take them for the first time. I had no problems/side effects w/xenadrine in the past.

Any input would be appreciated :)

I LOVED My DIet Fuel with Ephedra now I can't seem to find it anymore...
I'm not sure whether to bother buying ephedra free..it seems togo agaist the principle of the stack....

A lot of online retailers still sell ephedrine products. Try doing a Yahoo! or Google search for the items you want and maybe you'll find someone still offering them. Good luck!

Oh, and 25mg of ephedra seems about normal. Just half the recommended dosage for a week and see how it works.

my two cents worth.

I bought the new ephedra free hydroxycut, and after more than a week of using it, I think its not the same, I cannot feel the energy I used to, I am starting to think I paid about $35 for a placebo.. :( where is the old one?

I miss ephedra!

I will tell you what my doctor told me----NO, ABSOLUTELY NOT!!----she said, you take ephedra and you can just drop dead from a heart attack---don not take it----but before she told me that, I had taken it for energy and appetite control and I loved it---however after taking it for about a month, I found that when I was coming down off of it, I would get almost evil!! Just really grumpy. But I stay away from it now. I wish I could find something to give me that kind of energy. It was great.

I used DIet Fuel in this manner. Not like the directions. Two/three in the am. Three in the afternoon and none in the evening. Weekends only in the a.m.... I found it to be effective and didn't feel a coming down and felt good about the fact that I didn't use it all of the time. I read somewhere in here that you should cycle on and off them..

I bought "Stacker 2" with ephedra (after xenadrine was no longer available with ephedrine.) However, although I do feel energized after I take it I have a couple concerns.
1) per serving theres 200mg of caffeine
and
2) under "other ingredients" it lists dextrose.
Is that another name for sugar??? I'm really concerned that these pills might interfere with ketosis.

Anyone else taking it? or taking another supplement w/caffeine and still losing?

Dextrose is glucose sugar refined from corn starch.

Caffeine doesn't seem to effect the majority of low-carbers it seems. My ECA pills contain 99mg of caffeine per 2 pills and I also drink diet cokes with caffeine and never had a problem. YMMV of course!

Currently I'm just using BetaTrim since I ran out of my Ripped Fuel earlier this month. It doen't contain anywhere as much ephedra (if i remember correctly) as Ripped Fuel but it does the job well enough. Once I run out of it I'll very likely buy either some more Ripped Fuel or maybe some Diet Fuel.
