Hi everyone, I'm new here :) I've tried the Atkins diet so many times, but being in college, it's hard to stay on it when there are sandwiches and pasta all around you....but when I do stick to the diet, I don't find myself losing the weight as quick as I would like to. Honestly, I would ideally like to lose about 20 lbs. at the most....so since I do not need to lose much, will it take a lot longer to lose it? I do drink diet soda however throughout my dieting...should I cut that out? I do pretty well though, I stay under 20 (or at least I try my best!) carbs a day. What are your suggestions? How long do you guys think it will take for me to lose all of the weight that I want to lose??? Thank you so much!

The book says most people lose 10% on induction, and then 5% a month after, but we are all different. It's probably going to take you longer than say someone who weighs a lot more. Some times diet soda stalls people, if you find yourself stalling or losing slower, cut it out to see if it helps. If you want to lose at maximum speed make sure to follow the book.
