Hi everyone
This looks like a great friendly place and brill for UK low carbers
I am not new to low carb, I have been low carbing for 18 months or so now. Have lost nearly 3 stone but been maintaining for a long time and need a kick up the butt to lose the last 2 stone.

Looking forward to getting to know you all a little better

Another hello and well done.

I too am down to the last 2 stone. (such a relief to able to talk in stone, rather than just lbs!). I have found this forum the most fantastic help, comfort and inspiration. There is so much good humour and good sense here.
I thought I knew lots of good ideas for cooking etc but blimey, wait till you look at the recipe section!!!

I did not lose anything for weeks, back in the autumn, and just kept reading threads about stalls and tips for keeping going and it worked. I have never managed to keep going with a weight loss programme (can't bear the 'd' word) before if I wasn't losing regularly.

I forgot to mention I was interested in your goal We are similar heights and my goal is a lot lower. I think I am being a bit mad, actually, but know I need to be below 11 stone to be in good enough shape. I am basing this on having been there, and not feeling skeletal. Size 12 and all that.

How did you arrive at your goal? People do say that goals get adjusted. I think mine needs to go up a bit.

Hi Crackers and welcome to this forum.

I have also been low carbing for quite some time, over 2 years now. I've got a bit more than 2 stone to go, but do love this way of life.

You will find a lot of support here and as you have already said, we are a friendly bunch.

Why not start a journal to motivate yourself.

I wish you every success with your push for those last 2 stone.
