Hi,
I have been taking Atkins Basic #3 and Essential Oils since November last year but as I live in Japan the cost is pretty high (shipping, etc.).
I would like to find some local equivalents here in Japan but am not sure if there are some things I should be careful of when choosing similar products?
For example, I know that Atkins products are made for low carbers but does that mean other companies vitamins may contain carbs or ingredients not good for low carbers? What should I look for?
Any advice would be most welcomed.
Thank you.
Simon.

hello Simon,

It's fine to use another brand of supplement; many folks do. Just read labels and select one that is close to the Basic #3 formula. Make sure the product states that it does not contain: sugar, starch or dairy ingredients.

Otherwise, there's no problem to use an alternate

Thanks Doreen,
I'll have a look around and see what I can find.
The language (Japanese) always makes this kind of search difficult but if it"s only sugar, starch and dairy ingredients that I have to look out for it should be ok.
Thank you.
Simon.

...but if it"s only sugar, ...... that I have to look out for it should be ok. .
Just be aware of sugar's many disguises ;) ... lactose, fructose, honey, concentrated fruit juice, rice syrup, sorghum syrup, sucrose, dextrose and/or .. glucose. :daze:

You need to be a detective!! :read:
