Well thats got your attention :)

After watching the " Fat Academy " on the Discovery Health channel l thought l must try this Healthy eating plan as it been put together for the programme by a Doctor who according to their website is one of the worlds leading experts on human nutrition.

His 5 point plan is :-

Drink plenty of water
Eat small regular meals
More Fruit & Veg, cut down on processed foods
Cut out Wheat products, & reduce Dairy products
Chew food fully.

During the show he talked about reducing the High Carb foods in your diet.

So after the show l had a look at the website, and read the following ( edited in good media tradition, to reduce my poor typing! ) :-

Breakfast -
Dont misss it.
Eat like a King at Breakfast.

Lunch -
Eat salads where possible, try not to have bread with it.
Avoid Sandwiches.

Dinner -
Eat a light meal.
Try to avoid Carbs at night.

Other comments were :-

Stay away from processed foods.
Meal at night with a very small amount of carbs or even no carbs ( ......... BUT no pasta, potatoes, chips etc ).
Eat as many vegetables as you like.
Eggs are fine and don't need to be limited.
If your going to drink several times a week - only drink Red Wine.

-----------------

What NO bread, pasta, potatoes, chips ! where have l seen that before :)
Surely this Media " Healthy Life Style " plan, is just a variation on LCing! .

Anyway,
As l've reached my first mini target of 35lbs, lost in just 4 months and as l'm enjoying the lifestyle, l think l'll stick with it.

Happy LCing :wiggle:
