Hi,

I had posted about this on another newsgroup and got good
feedback, I just wanted to post here to see what other
opinions I can absorb.

I am 20 years old and I work out 3 times a week for
around 1.5 hours doing weight lifting. Then on the other
2 days of the week I ride my bike for about 1.5 hours. I
am trying to get in shape in terms of building muscle
mass, having more stamina/being more active and building
muscle tone(I'd say emphasis is 60% muscle tone / 40%
muscle mass).

I work out 3 days a week, mainly for staying in shape and
keeping toned while increasing strength. I use all
freeweights like barbells and dumbells. My W/O consists of 4
sets on each excercise with 10 reps of each exercise. In
order I do, thighs, abs (25X4), lower back, chest, chest
again(diff excer), shoulder, upper back, triceps, biceps.
After each set I take roughly a 25 second rest. I basically
do the same thing each week, maybe adding, subtracting or
modifying my routine every once in a while to keep it
interesting and work on different areas.

I was wondering what you would all suggest as supplements
to take to help me achieve my goals. I'v been working out
off and on for over 4 years, although I'v been pretty
steady for the last 5 months or so. Throughout those 5
months I'v been taking a Protien supplement(only 23g a
day), but was wanting to add something else. I heard alot
about Creatine, I was thinking maybe small dosages could
help me?? Or maybe you all would suggest something else.

Thanks!

How about a multi-vitamin?

What did you hear that gave you that idea?

I found it helpful to add some omega-3 fats to my diet. Have
you tried Udo's Oil? If you're just dying to blow money on
supplements that might be a good place to start.
