I have the Atkins New Carbohydrate Counter book. Why oh why doesnt it measure the carbo content of veggies etc. by the gram instead it uses tbs. i want to start incorporating more veggies into my diet but am loathe to do it without an accurate guide. The latest book isnt very clear on this either. It gives different amounts of veggies allowed on induction depending on which page your reading.
So to aide me in my plight does anyone know of a publication that measures the carb content of foods by the gram and not by the cup, fist, tablespoon, teaspoon, peck, bushell or other medieval method
thnks.
P.S.
My guesses at carb content seem to be working up to now

If you follow this link it will get you to a huge nutrient database on which you can chose cups grams what you like!

Remember to deduct the fiber from the carbohydrates to get a true reading.

I tend to use the online shopping sites of Sainsburys and Tescos to find my information. There is also information on the carb counter in the quick links bar on the right.
