There I was, getting all self righteous about my lack of carbs. I am sure I was more than 20 per day but not much. I started last monday and weighed myself on wednesday afternoon. I weighed myself again yesterday (five days since first weighed) and I only lost a pound.
Perhaps I lost weight in the first 2 1/2 days before weighing but to only lose a pound when I was doing as I was told......beggars belief.
Yesterday I ate 3 97% pork sausages (M&S) 3 roast chicken drumsticks (M&S) small salad, 1 oz cheese, tbsp coleslaw, tin tuna in sunflower oil and small salad, 2 x sf jelly & squirty cream, half bottle red wine.
When I look at it in three small rows before Atkins I could have eaten this as one meal (with bread). What am I doing wrong?
Perhaps I should cut out the sausages and change the tuna to brine. Have given up a lot I love but not ready to give up booze (cut down though).
