I was in Holland and Barrat today with my diet buddy Carolph (who is on here too) and we were looking for a certain suplement that has been recomended on here. I couldn't find as I couldn't remember the exact name, the shop worker asks if I need any assistance. I say rather sheepishly that the thing I'm looking for is L- something like caratine, she says "oh yes L-cartanine, Atkins right?" Me shocked says yes and ask if she gets lots of people in who are on it and she says absolutely tonnes, this is not a big city this is Chorley for goodness sakes.

One thing I will say for H&B is that they are generally very well up on current dietary affairs.
Next time you're in, would you mind asking if they're doing anything about the stevia ban please? If anyone's going to start a pressure campaign to reverse government decisions, its often them!

We are taking over the country.
I saw a jug of yellow stuff on the desk of my office canteen, and was told it was thick cream because so many people wanted it in their coffee rather than milk. 'That Atkins diet!'
Isn't that encouraging?

Not only is it getting huge. I posted a note in Media Watch saying it is now the No 1 best seller in the UK, beating Harry Potter!
