I've been reading through the forum and people are mentioning making food out of ground flax seeds. Which part of the supermarket can these be found in? Also, what are some good ideas for using them?

Another question I had was about diet sodas. I found this one called "Waist Watcher" and its caffeine free and sweetened w/splenda. It comes in a bunch of different flavors and is really yummy. But should I be limitting my consumption of it? it says 0 carbs......

Thanks for the feedback! :wiggle:

Look in a health store - not a supermarket.

The diet soda sounds good to me.

If your local health food store doesn't carry flax seeds, you can buy them online. I know that Bob's Red Mill (http://www.bobsredmill.com/)sells flax meal, and there are probably other places.

As far as splenda-sweetened drinks go, it's almost a religious issue in these forums. As a general rule, I'd advise everyone to avoid artificial foods of any kind during induction. I think that this strategy gives your body the best chance to know that you're doing something different with your diet and start adapting. But that's simply my .02¢ worth.
