Okay, I've always had a low tolerance for things being in my mouth, I have an easy gag reflex.
Even when brushing my teeth sometimes I gag.
Anyway my question is this.
Can anyone suggest a product for getting my supplements that maybe comes in powder form instead of pill form.
The daily grind of swallowing these horse pills is getting to me.
I need something that I could maybe mix into my flavored waters, something that would not affect an LC program.
Thanks in advance.

You could try chewables, but they usually contain sugar in some form or another. You need to read the fine print ... it may say on the label "contains no added sugar, starch etc" then you read the list of ingredients and there's honey or fruit juice condentrate  Nonetheless, the carb-damage wouldn't be more than 1 gram per pill.
Most vitamin and mineral liquid tonics contain sugar, and in much larger amounts than a chewable pill.
Do you gag with ANY pill, or just large horse pills?? Some brands make multi-vites that are much smaller and you take them 3 times a day (with each meal) instead of one monster in the morning :daze: GNC has a house-brand like that, and also Natural Factors.
Sorry I can't think of anything else ... my SIL has a hard time with big pills too, especially Calcium/Magnesium. Even though she's LC'ing, she still has to use the chewable tablets that have a bit of sugar in them. She just counts the carbs, and works it into her daily carb budget.

I think I might be fine with smaller pills, but even a large number of smaller pills taken too soon together gets to me.
I planned on a trip to GNC today to see what I could find, what about those protein powder mixes you can buy that come with multi-vitamins?
Anyone had any experience with those in regards to meeting an LC'ers needs for supplements and/or carb intake?

Difficulty swallowing pills is a real problem, and other members have posted the same concerns. So if there's something out there that can help, and is low-carb ... let us know

This is one thing I found on my visit to GNC. It's called Miracle 2000.
It's liquid form, and usually mixed in with juice, it's also cherry flavored.
I don't really like the taste of it all that much but I just put it in a small glass mixed with some flavored water and hit it like a shotglass...LOL.
I informed the clerk that I was taking the LC route and was worried about hidden carbs or sugars etc and we both looked this bottle over and couldn't seem to find anything that might be an issue.
But here's a list of the ingredients so if you guys could have a look over them you might see something we didn't catch.

Oh yeah, the price at GNC was $29.99
