WoW!! :yay: :yay:
Today is the end of my first 2 weeks with LC was a WOL.
I stepped on myscale this morning and my weight actually registered!
330 pounds!! since 2 weeks ago when I weighed at my Dr.s office, my weight was 349. So I have lost 19 pounds, which I actually find rather incredible! :dazzle: :)
I have eaten a lot of healthy food, more food than I have been eating, and I feel better than I have for a long time.
I find the weight loss to be amazing. I knew that I was losing inches, and it was wonderful to see the scale actually register a number instead of "E" for error.
Thank you to all here on this forum, it has been wonderful to share my journey with all of you.
Thanks!! :yay:

Congratulations.. You have done quite well losing 20 pounds already. Best wishes for many more happy days seeing that scale move downward. :-)

And like MisterE said, keep the same smile when the scale DOESN'T move, and I know there will be weeks ( and maybe weeks and weeks) when that happens.
I have actually increased my calorie in take, as I don't want my body to slip into starvation mode, and this fast is really a bit too fast.
Even if half of this loss is probably water weight, at least it is out of my body and I can move around much easier than before!

Congratulations! :cheer:
I remember how wonderful it was when I could finally weigh myself on my bathroom scale. Isn't this forum wonderful? Where else could we find other people who share this type of experience?

[QUOTE=aneredac]WoW!! :yay: :yay:

Sounds like you and I are carbon copies at least in the pounds department. My scales errored out at 330 also. Had to use starting weight when I last went to doctor. Been on Atkins 1 month. First goal was to see scales work. Met that. Since lost another 10 pounds. Took me a good 2 weeks and just about nothing but meat to get the ketosis strip to turn a good purple. Since then I stayed in ketosis real good at about 10 carbs a day. We need to keep up with each other for incouragement. :angel: Have a good one. John
