Never got it myself.. but I've heard you get a metallic taste in your mouth. Or maybe a sweet-type smell/taste.

Taste in your mouth is bitter, metallic. Breath smells bitter and strong. I've had it...had it for the last 9+ weeks, in fact. Never had to use a "Keto Stick" to know my condition...my problem is disguising it from the world!
