I was just wondering if on a label it has for example--
35 g carbs, 7 g fiber, 3 g sugar alcohols and 7 g sugars do you subtract the fiber and sugar alcohols from the total only or also subtract the sugars too??

Thanks in advance!!!

Just the fiber and sugar alcohols. So in your example the net carb would be 25 g.

Thanks for the quick response icefire.

Boy think of all the stuff we could eat if we could subtract the sugars too. DARN!!!

Thanks again!!

So, my eclipse gum has 1g of sugar alcohol a piece, does that mean it has no net carbs?

Sugar alcohol has a minimal impact on blood sugar, that is not to say no impact. So at one piece, you can count the carbs at zero, just don't eat the whole pack like I do, cuz then you would have to count a few carbs.
