Day four, and I have done well!! :)
and today I bought ketostix at a pharmacy today, and tested, and it turned pink! A friend asked me if it was a pregnancy test...
No miracle births here! I told her it turned pink, so it must be a girl!

anyway, four days into induction, and while I am not weighing myself, I can tell that fat is changing shape. I let myself measure a few places, and I have lost a couple of inches. Now, some of this could be bloat as I was eating wheat, and I am allergic to it. So this is good news!

I just had to share

This is a great place,
REna

Isn't this amazing? I see that you play the FLUTE! What a coincidence! I just so happen to play the FLIRT! I have been playing professionally for most of 53 years. (wink)
I stopped in to welcome you as I can't recall if I have played Welcome Wagon for you yet...but also I was reading your profile to get to know you while listening to the new CD of the Atlanta Symphony playing Copland's Appalachian Spring Ballet. And saw you are a musician.
Hope your health is good and your smile is bright!

what key is your flirt in? and how easy is it to transpose?

One of my goals in my early youth was to be a professional orchestral musician. In college I practiced 8 to 10 hours a day!!

My room mate joked that I could break pencils with my bare lips!

I finally realized that while I am good, I am not good enough to make my living at it full time. So now I play for fun.

ANd then there is the little problem of audition phobia!

I could walk into an audition and forget how to play.. oh joy

Appalachian spring is wonderful, or course most of Copland is

Thanks for the welcome and the flirt.
