I'm coming off two weeks travel with sporadic exercise. And two days of totally sleepy not exercising TOM time.

I have an appointment tomorrow at 7am with a Gold's Gym trainer to start weight lifting training.

This seemed like a great idea two weeks ago, but now I'm crabby, and slow, and totally not looking forward to waking up early.

Tell me to go! Please!

- feeling very lazy

I know I'll be happy once I've been there a while - it's just so hard when you've slipped away for awhile - you know?

Thanks for the encouraging words :-)

mornings suck, but exercise doesnt (normally).. lol. once you start going again and seeing results, you'll be that much more motivated to keep on going. sorta like our WOE :) good luck with the trainer.

I DID go! :yay:

It's so ridiculous. I've found that I love exercise. I love how it makes me feel in general (i.e., the rest of the day when I'm not doing it). And I love actually doing it after the first 10 minutes.

But I HATE the first 10 minutes, and I HATE starting again when I'm out of the habit.

DH and I have been going to the YMCA and strolling on the treadmill about 6 mornings a week for two years. Since I've started Atkins, we've "kicked it up a notch" - and changed strolling to fast walking and some elliptical trainer. But then I traveled - had some very long walks in Chicago and NY - but nothing regular.

Two weeks off my schedule - and I couldn't bring myself to wake up early and work out! :bash: Well, thank goodness for making that appointment to start weight lifting two weeks earlier (when I was excited about it).

The hardest part about it all was resisting canceling ahead of time, and getting dressed that morning.

My muscles are achey! I feel great! And I'm back in on Friday. Woohoo!

Woohoo, that's the stuff!

I'm the same way. Love exercising when I'm in the habit and doing it... makes me want to scream and throw things otherwise. :)

Guess that just goes to show you. Keep in that habit!

Congrats on going. I'm in such a bad mood at 7am. :)

forced myself to get up and do a little cardio at 7am today. :yay:

Not normally a big deal (as DH and I go together) - but he's out of town - and usually when's he gone - I don't go

Weight lifting again tomorrow at 7am. (And I actually went after work today for a walk/jog/walk/walk/job for 15 minutes!!)

It's so addicting once I get back "on".
