Hey! I just started Atkins 5 days ago and...i've lost 6 pounds! WOOHOO! I'm 17 from Ohio. I love this way of eating because it has made me feel 200% better then any other way I've eaten. I've just gotten back on after I had a couple of really hard weeks, but I'm back for good. And I don't plan on ever back sliding this far again. welp. haven't been here in a while... um..i'm not on atkins right now, or any other diet plan for that matter. infact i have NOOO self control lol. especially now that it's near halloween... yah i'm like CAAAANDY TIIIIIME :agree: !! YAHOOOO :yay: !!! I GET CHOCOLATE :roll: !!! lol! ehem...sooo.... well i plan 2 go back on Atkins with my mom in Nov. and maybe do this thing where you you have one 'carbolicous' (i made that word up lol) meal at the end of the day. But only a third of it can be carbs. like: 1/3 steak, 1/3 steemed broccoli, 1/3 mashed PO-TA-TOES lol! and if you want more potatoes, you have to also have the same amount of steak and broccoli so you can't fill up on potatoes... :nono:

THanks for the welcome! Like I said, I hope to get to know people on the teen site...it would be a fun way to do atkins I think- having the support from peers! I was telling my friends about what I am eating now, and they thought it was so funny and could not picture me eating all this meat and eggs, mayo, cream cheese, etc, etc. I have their support though, so that is great!

that is fantastic that you have your friends support . i just tell my friends that all the sugar makes me sick so i do not eat it . and for me the sugar and wheat and stuff does make me sick and feel terriable . so i really try not to eat it . well again welcome and if oyu ever want someone new to talk to my aim name is truebluesfan88 :) and i am on pretty often.
