I notice that a lot of people also count their calories. I thought it was counting carbs? For me, I'm probably eating more calories due to the meat, olive oil and cheese. Plain bread and fruit actually have low calories. I rarely ate oil, cheese and much meat prior to Atkins. However, I'd eat five pieces of fruit and 5 pieces of bread in a day. My eating has greatly changed. I eat Atkins friendly foods, but I'm never stuffed. However, I bet that I eat more calories than before. So, are calories that important?

you probably do eat more calories but as long as you are not eating the carbs not to worry
atkin says eat until satified not stuffed and if hungry eat
to say calories don't count at is probaly not true if you are eating like 5000 calories a day...but even at normal atkins levels which was more calories than I used to eat a day I lost well...when i figured into fitday I was eating around 2000 cals a day and around 20 carbs
