My cure which will possibly kill you! So check with your
doctor or Mum
Is to make a Vitamin "C" toddy (hot drink), add your favorite
cold cure mix from chemist. (clear nose chest and stop cough
and *helps you sleep*). A teaspoon of clover honey. Also add a
*good* tote of Jamaican Black Rum and go to bed and sleep (I
suspect a good sleep is the cure) I also use a little (
eucalyptus sprayed on a pillow ¼ teaspoon through an atomizer)
I rarely catch colds? Last one I remember was about 5 years
ago which was minor and my mix cleared it up (IMO)
I never give or gave up exercise for a cold?
I like HOT baths and Finnish steam saunas and use eucalyptus
in bath 3 tea spoons (In sauna half a teaspoon in a gallon of
water, that one uses to spoon over heated rocks)
When showering get in the habit of inhaling enough water up
nose to "flush" the mucus membranes (this is where a lot of
bad virus breed)
Eyes and nose is the entry point for cold virus ( I find an
eye bath with town water rinse is also good for eyes 1 minute
rinse you may tepor water in eye bath )
My home town water supply is sold by Coca Cola as "Pump" (pure
spring water in a Sports Bottle) Not sure if sold
internationally.
The (IMO) best eye baths are that sold with eye wash
"Optimax"; I throw the chemical solution that comes with it
away and buy a bottle of "Pump pure spring water" (also good
to drink) Water is always the best drink
This is just what I do and may not be everyone's cup of tea
so take care

I have read that you should not exercise while you have any
illness, even a cold (colds were specifically mentioned). I
don't remember the reason exactly, but it was something to do
with stress to the cardiovascular system.

I have read that you should not exercise with a fever, but a
cold should be no problem.
