does anyone else get this reaction ?
is it a bad thing ? I don't get any painful bloating, but alot
of accompanying bubbling/gurgling noises down there.
am I just getting too many of the little buggers at once, and
they're having a fart party in my gut...?

Maybe you are lactose intolerant? Do you have this reaction
with any other dairy product?

You aren't imagining it. Buttermilk will do it, too. Harmless.
Just smelly. ;-) Al

I get that too. If you are not eating plain yogurt, it might
be the sugar. Take digestive enzymes with it.

I don't get this reaction when I eat ice cream, so I don't
think I'm lactose intolerant. But I will try the enzymes...
Thanks to all who responded!

It's the live critters in these foods. Same idea as yeast in
bread dough. They make the gas as a by-product of their
existence and your gut makes them very happy.

What kind of yogurt. There are so many out there and so many
of them have stuff added. I eat only the plain Trader Joe's
Creamline. It is not homogenized and is about the closest
thing to natural that I have found. But I skim off the cream.
