Hi. I have some strong muscle aches, or nerves, causing a
feeling of traveling aches and pains, similar to the flu.
Doesn't matter if I'm running, or sitting, they feel the same,
no worse no better. I was on thyroid at a high dose when they
started. I have since been off thyroid for 6 months and I
still have them. They seem to come and go, the only things I
notice for sure... They're much Worse after drinking alcohol,
and My tongue seems to get chronic cuts on one side -- when I
get them the muscle aches flare up.

I never had them before taking the thyroid.

Any ideas?

thanks,

Dan

Try sci.med too.

Just curious why you went on "high dose" thyroid (thyroxine?)
and then stopped. You may benefit from a consult with a
rheumatologist.
