Don't worry. They can fluctuate based on whether you've just had a lot of water to drink, or just exercised. If you're in the moderate to large range you're doing really well. Give yourself a pat on the back. :daizy:

They really aren't always accurate first of all.
Second, if it is even the slightest pink you are in ketosis... it is like saying you are only a little pregnant. Either you are secreting ketones and burning fat or you aren't.
Third - save your money. If you have a decreased appetite and cravings and/or odd scent associated with your breath, sweat and/or urine... you are in ketosis.

i was just concerned because i have been eating bacon and sausage which isn't a part of my old diet (low-cal, low-fat).
so, the thought has just been on my mind if I'm doing ok or if I'm not doing ok.
thanks for the responses.

First of all, if you are losing weight you are fine. Relax, most low carb diets don't even put you in ketosis.
You are under your CCL and you are burning fat.

I lost about 40 lbs 2 yrs ago on Atkins and I thought BEIGE was ketosis ...I never changed that darn stick - I think I was more concerned about the stick than the weight loss....I do have a question though.....I am starting ATKINS from Induction because I did get off this WOE and I was wondering if it works round 2? By this stage in the diet my first time I had lost over 2 times the amount I had by now - Please tell me it works a 2nd time...this time will be my last I promise - This is a Way of Life and with all the low-carb options no reason it shouldnt be...
Thanks in advancefor your replies!

Yes, it works the second time round, but your weight loss may be slower.
