I found a new product in the produce section
Sunkist Almond Accents

They are slivered almonds seasoned/garlic/ranch/etc
The serving size is small 1 tablespoon but loads of flavor.
The fiber is listed as less then 1 g (so there is some fiber)and sugar as zero.

Was excellent on salad I bet will be good in a stirfry.

Must hide bag.....no more taste testing. must remember portion control is key....must hide bag NOW....heeehhee :p

Do you know where they are available ? I live in Canada and have such a hard time finding certain specialty items.

I found them at Food LIon in VA.
The brand is Sunkist so I would expect it to be a national thing...don't know about Canada sorry.

They were in the produce section by salad fixings in a pouch ,next to croutons.
You might look in the baking section ie nuts and choc chips but the flavors I saw were spicy not sweet.

Watch out for these, though. A quick read through the ingredients list shows some unsavory (to an LC-er) items: corn syrup? flour?? Ack!

The seasoned coating on them is a pretty small percentage of the total bulk, but it's easy to get carried away thinking they're a totally safe snack or salad topping. (I was fooled; I got the "plain" flavor thinking they'd be more healthy... )
