Justice Sandra Day O'Conner surprised no one when she voted
with the libs to uphold the University of Michigan's law
school admission policy. Here is a profile of the Justices who
voted in the majority decision.
Ginsberg: Jewish female Beyer: Jewish male Souder: At age 50
was still living with his mother! Kennedy: ? Appears "normal"
O'Conner Old post-menopause White female
Proving once again that the 19th Amendment* to the US
Constitution was a terrible mistake.
Jim
*Granting the vote to females. Yes, I know there are rational
and conservative females but their numbers are insignificant.
Voting patterns show a very large gender gap.

Golly! Another bigotted trolling post from the Milwaukee
Sockpuppetmaster who also calls himself
Chris/Bill/Robert/Chuck/Hank/Martin/Murph/Blair.
What a surprise!

Of course, you can find a rational female. The problem is
that, for at least one week out of every four, she will be
irrational.
Then, when she hits the menopause, she's irrational all the
time.
Add in the lower female intelligence (4% less than men) and
the fact that few women make it into the high intelligence
bracket and you've got a recipe for disaster if you give women
a say in courts or elections.
And all that's before we consider that women are non-linear
thinkers who tend to decide by emotion rather than logic.
Women say: "What do you *feel* about this?"
Men say: "What do you *think* about this?"

The US Government has two primary functions. 1. To protect our
borders.2. To provide the equal protection of the laws to all
citizens. It is doing neither and has not done either since
the 1970's. This judicial decision is similar to the infamous
pre civil war "Dred Scott" decision (in which a black slaved
petitioned the US Supreme Court to declare the institution of
slavery unConstitutional). The US Supreme Court declared in
that decision that slavery was legal. Now, in the Michigan
decision, for social, cultural, political, and economic
reasons similar to the "Dred Scott" decision, discrimination
against caucasians, especially caucasian males, is
institutionalized as consistent with the U.S. Constitution.
The traditional "strict scrutiny" test applied to the
Constitutionality of discrimination because of gender or sex,
does not apply to caucasians, especially caucasian males. The
same implies that males do not have a legal means of
addressing oppression and discrimination. The same implies
that caucasian males have no effective legal recourse to the
same other than emigration as only force, not reason, seems to
motivate those who currently hold political power..

Yes, Ann Coulter has stated that giving women the
vote was the crowning achievement of the
sociofascist movement that began with the Communist
Manifesto in 1847. She questions allowing women the
privilege of the vote.
Women's suffrage in America accelerated after europe's
experience with it showed that women vote for every
socialist and statist program that comes along by at
least 70 percent.

You could add that lowering the voting age from 21 to 18 had a
similar effect. Politicians love credulous voters, so expect
the voting age to come down to 16 one day.

She has never convinced me of that. She has occasionally made
me wonder, briefly, whether it was a net gain for society to
let women write books and newspaper columns.

Actually, that would be tough. The first place in the English
speaking world to grant female suffrage was, IIRC, Wyoming,
followed shortly by New Zealand.

It's already happened.
Because of a change in some bit of foolishness or another,
there is every likelihood that 16-year-olds in Baltimore City
will be voting in the next primary election, as the law
permits them to vote if they will be 18 by the secondary
election.....

That was their rationale, among a few other peripheral
ones; but it's been largely ineffectual.
18-21 year olds have the worst voting percentage of
any age cohort.
So low, in fact, it's not considered to have been
deciding for any election.

Actually, it was New Jersey. In 1783 a statute passed by the
New Jersey legislature authorized voting rights to "all
inhabitants of this state, of full age, who are worth fifty
pounds proclamation money." Repeated attempts were made to
overturn the statute allowing women to vote, (especially since
women mostly voted Federalist) and in 1807 a new statute was
enacted aimed at preventing 'undesireables' from voting. Women
were included in this category. Thereafter, sufferage was
limited to white males of property.

The word "actually" is so commonly prefixed by feminist true
believers to their lies, Amber J, that you have the obligation
to supply your source for your claims here -- lest your
credibility fall further into deficit.
This tale you tell is almost plausible, tho', for two reasons:
(1) women historically support the more statist of
establishment political parties way out of proportion to their
share of the population and (2) there are records of women in
the US voting during that time period. Still, given how often
you and other feminist true believers have promoted Big Lie
forms of propaganda in numerous news groups no prudent person
will believe any of your claims until they are checked out.
