Im attempting to get a low body fat %. I dont want to lose any
muscle mass. I am slow jogging daily for about 30 minutes. At
about the 20 - 30 minute mark I get this rush(I assume its
endorphins) and i feel like I could take on the world. Am I
best to go with the flow and keep jogging until fatigue? Or to
stop at my 30 minutes(and maybe save some fuel for tomorrow)?
thanks, Jason

Even with aerobic exercise, it's best not to go to the point
of fatigue on an everyday basis. If you run everyday until
you're fatigued, you'll get tired of running soon enough. A
little tired is OK, but you should feel invigorated at the end
of most of your exercise sessions, no matter what they are,
unless you're training under a very specific routine that
requires working to the point of failure, usually followed by
several days of rest, in order to encourage muscle growth.

Jason, I get the same experience. I don't know whether it is
"endorphins" or just energy? It is hard to stop sometimes. If
I keep going, I have to tune in to any pains that might be a
signal of an injury developing. What I do is go to the weights
after about an hour of treadmill, but I use to keep going
(once up to 2 1/2 hours) and I developed some knee pain. I
think the key is doing a variety of types of exercises if you
want to keep going. Of course, there are such people as
"marathon runners"! R
