I'm not sure if this is the right place for this but I couldn't figure out where else to send my question.
I have just logged on to the forum after being away for at least a week and I noticed that none of the new threads or messages are marked as unread. They all have the unlit light bulb beside them.
This makes it difficult for me to remember what I have and have not read. Do you know why I am having this problem?

Hi Wendy,
This thread is fine for discussing problems. I'm not sure why the bulbs are not lit in your case.
Possibilities:
1. Coockies are disabled or,
2. Browser's internet temp files have been reset, some browsers remove cookies/history files and the like on schedulred periods set by the options.
Does any of the above apply?

Hi, Wa'il. Not exactly a problem. But is there a link from this forum to the discussion list? I use both, and while I've got both sites bookmarked, a link might be useful too.
Thanks,
Rachel

Hi Wa'il and Wendy,
Just back from a complete reformat and restore of C: drive, which means all my cookie history was wiped out. Well, I'm getting all new message threads lit up, so that rules out possibilty # 2. Must be # 1 then.
Hope this was helpful in some way,
Doreen
