Many recipies found in this forum measure butter by the stick? In NZ butter comes in 500 grm blocks. How many grams in a stick?

Me again, Rachel.
The short answer is about 110g. A "stick" iis a quarter of a pound, which is close to 450g.
The longer answer is that once you go to the Oz/NZ forum (click here), (http://forum.lowcarber.org/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&forumid=43) there's a "sticky" thread at the top where you can find all sorts of conversions.
Cheers!

Hi Roz,
Thanks, am just browsing through the OZ/NZ forum now, I should have looked there first! I didn't want to ask questions if answers had already been posted, so looked all around for answers, but didn't see the OZ/NZ forum! Its great reading! And I can see that you post a lot!
Thanks for all your help
Cheers, Rach
