HI All. Just want to make it clear up front that
1) I'm not referring to the success stories on this site
2) I'm following Atkins, so this observation obviously hasn't swayed my resolve.
But . . . .
I've noticed that on the Atkin's site (www.atkinscenter.com) and the ediets site (they're pitching a new Atkins plan) they recycle the same 4 or 5 success stories. And they're all from the new book Atkins For Life !
It seems like such a powerful plan that's been around for so long would have more success stories.
Of course, the real reason could be lazy writers who'd rather cut and paste than compose and post.
Just something to think about.

Most of his success stories (the ones found in the books) are his own patients. He generally doesn't include those who didn't visit the Atkins Center...but lost on their own.

The Atkins diet has only become popular in recent months and Ediets only started an Atkins section in the last month or two. Give them a couple years and they'll add some of their own success stories.

It makes sense that they pitch the new book as that's the one they're trying to sell now. Maybe that's the reason all of the success stories are from that book?

Try looking at the success stories on this site if you get tired of those!! On Atkin's site, I've found a place where they have a list of success stories to read. There's quite a few. But you're doing good & pretty soon you'll be one.

Note also that many are concerned about their privacy. It's a small percentage of successful dieters who will agree to publish their story and pictures to the public.
