Hi ladies,
I have no idea if anyone will have an answer to my question, and I am going to poise it to my Dr tomorrow as well...
I am starting Clomid this cycle to "kick start" my ovulation. Hubby & I have been trying for a baby for over a year w/ no success - this is the next step. All of my blood work came back normal - no thyroid or hormonal issues of note.
Anyway, I read elsewhere on the board that this WOE can effect TOM - & honestly, since starting this WOE, I have had some hellacious TOMS. Apparently, it effects TOM b/c as the fat melts, it releases stored estrogen into the system?
Well, clomid is designed to reverse this process - it is suppose to trick the body into lowering the amount of estrogen flowing so the hormone FSH can be released & help mature the egg.
Any thoughts on this issue?
Thanks :)
