That stuff is dangerous!! Even a small amount makes me stall which is a pain 'cos I love it!!

I liked the Daryl Lee stuff, and you should be able to get the Cadbury Lite at any supermarket.

Dont eat to much at once because the warning on the packet that says 'excess consumption may have a laxative effect' is the understatement of all time - trust me, it aint nicknamed Crap Your Pants Candy for nothing!! :daze:

hahahahahahahahahaha

oh that's awful!

Luckily (??) it just stalls me, doesn't affect my digestion.. but I only eat small amounts.

I got Cadbury Lite at my local safeway/woolies for $2.50ish a small block.

You guys are so funny...crap your pants candy...he he he.

I have tried the Cadbury Lite also....and I give it the thumbs up! Tastes almost like Cadbury regular chocolate. The size referred to above is 75g bar.

Here are the vital stats:

Cadbury lite chocolate (15g = 4 squares) 58 cals, 0.81g protein, 4.17g fat, 1.07 carbs, 0 fibre.

I'm just going through PMT/TOM and Cadbury Lite saved me. Pre low carb I would have to eat chocolate, often 250g block, pack of mint slice biscuits, large packet of twisties and ice-cream. Every month this would happen....and no matter how good I'd been, the PMT/TOM monster would force me to cave in.

Since Low carbing from 2nd March 2003 the cravings have been almost non-existent. Just a little peckish around the edges. So, I've tamed them with some Cadbury Lite (about 6-8 squares a day), some comfort faux mashed potatoes (cauliflower) and diet coke caffeine free.

It's worked wonders. Only one irritable day instead of up to a week.

Try the Lindt 70% cocoa chocolate (black and silver wrapping) should be in most supermarkets, its around 3.5g per square but very rich and yum (I only eat it half a square at a time now)

I agree about the Lindt chocolate. It is fabulous. I have been getting that and other 70%+ cocoa solids chocolate. very intense flavour so you only need a couple of pieces maximum to sate that choc craving. I found another sort at Island Bay New World (Wellington) which is 70%+ cocoa solids plus it is organic so warm fuzzies all round. cant for the life of me remember what it is called tho. will find out and post later. Will try the mixed with cream thing tho. actually will try with cream and eggs- mmmm mousse!!!
Have tried the cadbury lite and found that it tasted like plastic. damn my super sensitive tastebuds! cant get used to the taste of any artificial sweetners ('cept in equal lollies-yum. But not sposed to eat aspartame. still its only one lolly in a week or so so that shouldnt matter)
