Just curious to know how much is "normal". A certain % of your body weight?
I jumped on the scale too soon and have lost 5 lbs in 5 days. My dh has lost 11 lbs.

Isn't losing that fast bad for you?

My husband did the same thing 11 lbs in 5 days...I haven't weighed yet, however I dont think it will be as much as him either...My first weigh-in is tomorrow...I think its pretty much water weight at first though.

Good luck!

Men naturally lose faster than women because they have a higher muscle mass=high metabolism. Second that 11 lb loss is great, but a large portion of any initial loss is water weight. The average expected loss during Induction is 10%, but some lose more & others less. There is no need to be alarmed or worried. The weight loss will naturally slow down, whether wanted or not. As long as you're both following the program with your eating, water intake, & supplements you'll be fine.

I depends on the efficiency of your metabolism. The weight loss slows considerably after induction. Your weight loss is typical. You no doubt are eating well, drinking plenty of water. There is no need to worry. I envy you actually cause I lost only 9 lbs. in 2 weeks. My metabolism is a little slow plus I am perimenopausal.
Oringinally I wanted to get down to 135 lbs ( ony 6 lbs. to go ). But I have decided to get down to 125 after the summer.

Keep it up,
