I was just reading an article about a stage musical version of 'Some Like It Hot'. It will opening here and starring Tony Curtis as the older millionaire character. In the interview with Tony Curtis he states
"I eat a high-protein diet, a variation on the diet recommended by our late friend Dr. Atkins."

How cool is that! The picture in the article looks great - considering he is 78!! More good press for us believers.

That's all he says about it, but if you are interested - here is the article in full:

I don't know if you get this show in the US, but BBC has a show called "Ready, Steady, Cook!", in which guests bring a bag of food for under 5 Pounds Sterling, and celebrity chefs help them prepare meals from it...

It's a great show, but I'm occasionally annoyed when one of the chefs puts a light olive oil dressing on a big mound of pasta and calls it dietetic!

Anyway, the other day there was this gorgeous woman on the show, and she talked at legnth about being on Atkins, and the host and chefs couldn't get over how good she looked, after having 3 kids...

Good publicity :)

Katana, the Food Network for awhile had a take-off on the BBC program. It was called, "Ready, Set, Cook!" Haven't seen it in a bit. It was the same premise, although the shopping bag of ingredients was denominated in US$.

Enough with those second string "STARS." Mr. Sulu is the real celebrity.

Oh, I had heard Jennifer Aniston was doing The Zone. I kinda wondered how she got so tiny on the Zone (although I don't know terribly much about it!) but would rather believe she was doing Atkins...lol.

I actually saw the Atkins Weightloss something or another on QVC or HSN this morning...it was video tapes of Dr. A. He is everywhere these days! :)
